About CLC
City of London College is based in the heart of London's business district. It was founded in 1979, making it one of London's most long-established and respected private providers of education and training. Over this period, many thousands of students have graduated from the College, and are now following worthwhile careers worldwide.
The College is situated in the central eastern part of Britain's capital, the centre of the country's international business and finance. This area houses the head offices of all major banks, financial institutions and insurance companies. The College is within walking distance of the Tower of London, Tower Bridge and St Katherine Docks. A walk of 15 minutes can take students to the famous St. Paul's Cathedral and Fleet Street. The Bank of England and the London Stock Exchange are also within easy walking distance. The College is situated opposite Aldgate East underground station, which is connected with the rest of London through the District and Hammersmith & City underground lines.
The student population is international, as is the staff composition. City of London College holds a premier College status from the Accreditation Service for International Colleges (ASIC) and is recognised as efficient by the British Accreditation Council for Independent Further and Higher Education (BAC).

Partnerships
- Birmingham City University is a large, multi-cultural university that has been providing education in the city of Birmingham since 1843 when the first Polytechnic Institute was formed. At CLC we offer a range of Birmingham City University's business programmes that include honours programmes in international business and international finance as well as a masters in accounting and finance.
- University of Greenwich traces its roots back to 1890. City of London College was one its early partners.The College has had collaborative arrangements with the University since 2003. We offer the final year of two of the University of Greenwich?s bachelors? degrees in computing and business information technology. Students studying this programme at CLC are registered with the University of Greenwich and graduates are awarded the degree by the University of Greenwich.
- Trinity University College founded in 1848, has a growing community of international students studying at the campus. The City of London College works in partnership with Trinity University to offer bachelors and masters degrees in tourism management.
- Leeds Metropolitan University has been providing access to learning in Leeds for over 180 years. The City of London College has collaborated with the University to offer a masters? programme in management consultancy.
