PTC Education Consultants has been a very critical part in getting my tertiary life started in the United Kingdom. It has been the determining factor of studies at City University London. The first contact with the staff at the career fair was very friendly and provided useful and helpful information about the life and education system abroad. The events that PTC organised throughout the year help me clear my confusion. The events were held by representatives of different institutions from abroad; which in a way offered a direct contact to the university. The professionalism shown by the staff was amazing. The response to queries was very prompt and people of PTC were ever ready to response to any call. PTC has helped me not only to apply for the appropriate course and university but also has been a great support when it came to make my VISA application to the British High Commission. The service offered the PTC I a genuine and very professional one. I would highly advice students to make the most of this service as it is stress free.

In 2010, with the help of PTC, I made an application to City University London for the course of Biomedical Engineering. I was offered an unconditional seat at the institution. To be honest, I was my first ever time in London. I was totally new to the lifestyle and system of London. However, PTC gave us a brief description of what to do and when to do. This helped us to adapt to this new world. The experienced I had at City University was one of the best. The academic as well as the administrative staff are very helpful. Compare to my other friends in other university in UK I can say I’m very happy I have chosen City University. This University doesn’t only provide a good level of education but also prepare an individual to compete in real world. By my personal experience I can say that City University really care about their students. Beside academic life, the Lecturers/tutors do help students who have person problem such as having difficulty to concentrate, problem revising etc. the university also offers career services to help students to perform good interview and write good CV for jobs and placements. For the good quality of the course as well as the personal attention offered by City University I would highly advice further students to come here.

My three years at City University has been very quick. I’ve enjoy every single moment I had at City University and after in BEng and considering the option of doing my masters in the near future. The reason of me coming again at City University is that the love I received here I won’t get it anywhere else in the UK. The only tips I can give to anyone here is that don’t be afraid to approach the lecturers for help, at City they are here to help and they will definitely help.
